- It is a free app. The previous version was called Adobe Voice. It is very useful for teachers who require an easy and quick video making app. It has a wide range of creative commons graphic images. Students can add their voice easily to each image. It has themes and free music to give the video a professional look. It also has a range of templates
- This version is wifi dependent. The older version Adobe Voice is not. There is no facility to change the font or size of text and the positioning of images and text is limited.

Summary
Adobe Slate is a free video making app which comes with a range of themes, images and sound. The app allows you to use your own voice and images but the font is limited to the theme you choose. The icon tab has numerous free graphic images which are ideal to use in a classroom or website instead of student images. The video can easily be shared with friends through facebook, email or texting. It can also shared on Twitter or stored on the iPad or phone.
