Through quizzing teachers can use it in every subject and any topic for fun formative assessment or presentation of content. Kahoot runs in all platforms and allows teachers to run game-like quizzes in real time. Teachers can create their quizzes or import public quizzes. Questions,and answer choices are displayed on a shared screen, for example, an interactive whiteboard. Players join in using their own device. It can be a smartphone, iPad, laptop or a desktop. The only requirement is having a good internet connection and a pincode provided by the teacher. Players do not need a kahoot account to play. Fast feedback is provided on students’ devices and the class screen. Students can also create Kahoots which allows higher-order learning.
