Rechendreieck (Calculation Triangle)

Calculation triangles are found in many exercise books in primary level. The task is to calculate the sums of the adjacent fields in each case, and to fill in the number of points in the corresponding result fields. Of special interest are tasks concerning general questions:

• How do the edge numbers alter, if 1 / 2 / 3 platelets are added in all fields in each case?
• Which possibilities are resulting when 3 border numbers are given?
• And so on….

Calculation triangles promote flexible thinking capacities. The intuitive operation works also successful. Points are produced by a simple touch, numbers can be shown or hidden by wiping. By shaking the iPad, all points are deleted. The app is especially suitable to find solutions interactively for different tasks in the calculation triangle. It lends itself for partner work und provides direct direct feedback to the results. It is very easy to handle und enables also to experiment with more general tasks.
