The UK Quiz – a London Digital Wall
Brief Description
Students test their knowledge and find out about the UK: its culture, customs, history, geography, literature, etc. Furthermore, students write about London sights. Students answer quiz as a brainstorm to find out about the United Kingdom and the country´s different aspects, namely, culture, customs, history, geography, literature, etc. Quiz works as introduction to the topic “Studying abroad” or “English World Language”.
Possible tasks
Students activate their general knowledge on the UK; Students practice their reading comprehension skills; Students get feedback from the app about individual answers and general achievement; Finally, students do a writing activiry about London´s monuments.
Follow-up
Students do some websearch and write texts on the topic (or about London sights) which they can post on a padlet.
