IRELAND

Two institutions in Ireland are participating in the project; Dublin City University and InFocus Training. In addition to the overall project management and coordination, DCU is leading the research output of the project. The outputs of InFocus Training, based in Tralee, Co. Kerry, involve teacher training, engagement and field testing of applications and lesson plans.

GERMANY

The Staatliche Schulamt Lörrach sees itself above all as a partner, adviser and supporter of all schools and kindergartens in the counties of Lörrach and Waldshut.

Partners in the project are the district media centers Lörrach and Waldshut. These have the necessary pedagogical and technical expertise and support schools through consulting, training and the rental of media.

POLAND

The University of Mary Grzegorzewska (APPS) offers a variety of degree programs in education and the specialised training. The GSP’s program focuses on the training of teachers and assistants for children, adolescents and adults with impairments in seeing, hearing, speaking, impaired motor skills with intellectual, emotional and behavioural disorders.

PORTUGAL

AEFV – Agrupamento Escolas Figueiró dos Vinhos is a group of public schools, which strives for equal opportunities in education and training, through demand-oriented teaching, including social and vocational aspects. The offer for students aged 3 to 18 years includes kindergarten, primary school and all the branches of secondary schools.

MONTENEGRO

Osnovna Skola Marsal Tito is a primary school in Ulcinj. It is attended by students from grades one to nine and is bilingual – Montenegrin and Albanian. The school is equipped with modern technical aids and specialised halls. The teachers work with iPads.

The Digital Media in School and Teachingimedias  service assists and supports lecturers, teachers and schools in the process of integrating ICT (Information and Communications Technology) into their teaching and learning programs. imedias is responsible for the website of the MICOOL project.
