What are the benefits of tablets in school? What do students need; what do teachers need?
These are the basic questions of the Erasmus+ project MICOOL (Mobile Intercultural Cooperative Learning). In the first meeting on 23 – 24 October 2015 in Lörrach, 13 people from Ireland, Switzerland, Poland, Montenegro and Germany worked on organizing and planning the project.

After 2 years, among the intellectual outputs of MICOOL will be a website, an ebook with best practice lessons, technical tips, recommended educational apps, research papers and more.

The weekend involved a lot of work, but was also full of intercultural experience and fun, as the group got to know one another and began the process of sharing knowledge between nations and institutions.

An article, in a local German newspaper (Oberbadische Zeitung), was written about the project’s launch. You can read it here: “Weichen für Tablet-Project gestellt” (www.verlagshaus-jaumann.de, 2015)
