On the 9th and 10th of March another partner meeting of the Erasmus+ project MICOOL – Mobile Intercultural Cooperative Learning was held at the AEFV – Agrupamento de Escolas de Figueiró dos Vinhos in Portugal.
The project is now in its second year. It has as main purpose creating innovative teaching methods using mobile technologies, namely iPads. The partners from seven institutions in six different European countries: Germany, Ireland, Montenegro, Poland, Portugal e Switzerland have attended the two-day meeting.
The thirteen participating teachers presented an overview of their work and contributions to the project in the past few months, as well as dissemination activities promoted by their institutions. An update of the different outputs was given and the closing tasks were scheduled for the final meeting to be held in Dublin coming June.
On Friday evening there was time for a trip to the historical village Casal de São Simão near Figueiró dos Vinhos where the group dined at the local typical restaurant. Saturday was spent in the cities of Coimbra and Tomar visiting historical sites and monuments.
Once more getting together gave participants both the chance of exchanging views, and opinions on teaching methods and sharing cultural experiences while enjoying one another’s company.
